NICL AO Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility criteria as on 01.05.2025 to be considered for the NICL AO Recruitment.
Age Limit (as on 01.05.2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Birthdate Range: Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.05.1995 and not later than 01.05.2004 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation
Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories as per the Government of India guidelines:
- Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST): 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen (EXSM): 5 years (as per detailed rules in the notification)

- Doctors (MBBS): M.B.B.S / M.D. / M.S. or PG – Medical Degree from a recognized University OR equivalent foreign degrees recognized by the National Medical Commission. Must hold a valid registration from National Medical Commission or any State Medical Council.
- Legal: Graduate / Post Graduate in Law from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
- Finance: Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) OR B.COM / M.COM from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
- Information Technology: B.E / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology / MCA from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
